About the Journal

The bilingual, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed Journal New Perspectives on Political Economy (NPPE) has been published semi-annually in Prague since 2005 (ISSN 1801-0938). The journal's goal is to advance research in the fields of economics, political science, political philosophy, political economy, political history and law. The journal's principal goal is to improve our comprehension of the respected sciences from the perspectives of private property, the market mechanism, and individual liberty. We further believe that the only ways we can critically examine and comprehend the forces that shape policy-making, identify the implications and consequences of policies, and do so effectively are through collaboration between social scientists from various disciplines and cross-disciplinary research.

Research articles, review papers and book reviews are all welcome to be submitted to the journal. Articles published in the NPPE journal are open access articles licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY NC ND 4.0).
